pulsed laser parameters

The process of high energy pulse generation requires a pumping process (amplification) that takes time. Thus in Geneva's optical lab, we are able to produce short pulses at a rate of around 100KHz.

When simulating light pulse, we need to be careful on physical parameters as even if realistically producible, they might self destruct in an actual implementation.

Here are a few examples and counter-examples :

Power [W]
FWHM [ps]
wavelength
comment

FWHM = Full Width at Half Maximum, describe the pulse width (as typically considered enveloppe such as gaussian never goes to 0 exactly)
